观众心声
三百年前被教廷审判为恶魔并处死的男爵随着三百年后的彗星来袭重生世间，并对曾经审判他的陪审团后代进行报复；冤有头债有主，男爵虽然嗜杀成性但是好歹还是有冤报冤，有恩报恩，专门打击报复自己前世的仇人；电影中背景、设定、配乐都很大程度影响了后世日本怪兽片或者说特摄片，《恐怖男爵》可能是它们理念的雏形之一。
故事结构、剧本框架和主BGM在前半段煞有介事，尽管怪物造型杂糅了吸血鬼+外星人，且行为愚蠢至极却也有点小恶趣味，只是后半段故事和角色都塌方得不成样子。
笨拙的类型杂糅，以复仇为叙事主线却并未树立道德？
一般般，头套太假了，不过当时的剧组的确是很用心的，只不过墨西哥的电影水平不够
